Bearing Distributors, an Applied Company has been serving the industrial needs of our customers for 70 years through a vast inventory of bearings, power transmission components, motors, controls, and material handling equipment. Established in 1953 and as a family owned and operated business, we pride ourselves on our service, support and determination in building lifelong customer relationships.
In 2023, Bearing Distributors, Inc. was acquired by Applied Industrial Technologies. Combining with Applied’s unmatched industrial offering positions us as a leading technical solutions provider with significant opportunities for growth.

The Power Transmission Distributors Association (PTDA) is the leading association for the industrial power transmission/motion control (PT/MC) distribution channel. PT/MC encompasses a broad variety of mechanical, electrical, and fluid-driven equipment such as bearings, belts, drives, motors, gears, couplings, clutches and brakes, linear motion, and hydraulics and pneumatics.
The Bearing Specialist Association (BSA) serves and represents authorized distributors who stock and sell factory-warrantied ball, roller, and other anti-friction bearings. BSA members provide service, commitment and quality product, to industrial customers and are a vital link between our supplier partners and end users.
